111 Ministry of Education Life Education Care and Promotion Micro Film Competition
1. Purpose of the activity:
A friendly society is built on the values of caring for each other, supporting each other and being enthusiastic about public welfare. It brings positive signals to society. In order to deepen the promotion and implementation of life education on campus, students are encouraged to use video recording to reach out to the outside world. Passing on positive energy and creating a cycle of kindness in the ever-changing life, we hope to deepen the effectiveness and influence of life education through video recording.

Land and activity schedule:
1. Selection date: Registration starts from the announcement date and ends before 23:59 on September 19 (Monday). Receipt will be received until 23:59 on September 30 (Friday). Late entries will not be accepted.
2. Review and selection: Relevant scholars and experts will be invited to form a review meeting to conduct the selection. The final review meeting is expected to be held before the end of October.
3. Announcement of the shortlist: It is expected to be announced before early November.
4. Awards Ceremony and Premiere: It is expected to be held on November 24, and the list of winners will be announced.
5. The date and location are announced on the "Ministry of Education's Life Education Global Information Network" (website: https://life.edu.tw/zhTW2/) and "South China University Life Education Center website" (website: http://lifeeducation. nhu.edu.tw/).
7. Registration qualifications:
1. Participants: Current students in senior high schools and colleges and universities. They are not divided into groups. They still need to have student status when submitting documents.
2. Register in the name of an individual or a team. A maximum of 8 people can participate in the team (excluding performers). Each team must nominate 1 instructor.
3. If the work is found to have non-contestants involved in the script, dubbing, filming, post-production, etc. of the film or outsourced production, the qualification will be disqualified.

Submission of entries for the second stage:
(1) Entry information:
Registration form for the 111th Ministry of Education Life Education Care and Promotion Micro Film Competition.
All members of the team are required to provide proof of enrollment (photocopies of the front and back of the student ID card with the registration seal or other provable information with the registration seal can be provided).
Fill out the "Personal Information Provision Consent Form" (one copy for each person), "Copyright Authorization Agreement Form" (one copy for each person) and "Entry Confirmation Form" (one copy for the team, all members need to sign).
The audio and video files of the main feature film (excluding the ending), the complete video (can include the ending) and the 2-minute essence version of the competition work within 8 minutes are uploaded to the cloud hard drive and a download link is provided. The title format is "Main Film_○○○( Film title) _○○○ (representative)", "Full video _○○○ (film title) _○○○ (representative)" and "Highlights _○○○ (film title) _○○○ ( representative)".
Provide the following photos (resolution must be 300dpi or above), and write a description on the file in the format of "○○○(team name)_○○○(purpose)_○○○(picture content description)":
(1) One personal photo or one photo of the participating team.
(2) Take at least four side photos during the shooting process (with the team shooting as the main axis).
(3) A photo that the team thinks is fascinating and consistent with the title of the work, for the purpose of an introduction to the manual editor.
(2) Open the electronic file of entry information (items 1-3). (3) After the organizer completes the registration qualification review of the entry materials and works, and responds to the review notification results, those who need supplementary documents must complete the application within the time (before 23:59 on September 30) to complete the registration.
The registration team must ensure that the relevant registration information filled in is correct and free of falsification. Students (including international students) should provide proof of enrollment for the sponsoring agency to confirm their qualifications, and are protected and bound by the "Personal Data Protection Law" of the Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations. ; If there is any untruth, the qualification will be disqualified.
9. Regulations for the production of films for entries:
1. Video length: full length within 8 minutes (excluding endings), complete video (can include endings) and essence version 2 minutes (excluding endings)
2. Video specifications: Video formats are stored in avi, mov, mp4, mpg and other formats; video resolution is 1920*1080 or above.
3. The video must be accompanied by subtitles. If it is in English, please present it in Chinese and English.
4. Only the name of the work can be displayed in the title of the entry; relevant works or participant information will be displayed 5 seconds after the end of the video (such as the list of staff or interviewees, the sources of quoted videos, music, graphic materials, etc. Related information), this related information is to indicate the source of the work and is not limited to the length specification of the video.
5. Unauthorized or copyrighted videos, music, graphic materials, etc. are not allowed to be used. If it is reported or found to be infringing by the organizer, the qualification to participate or win the prize will be immediately disqualified in accordance with regulations.
6. If the same film is submitted repeatedly, for example, a film that has won domestic and foreign awards, or is participating in other similar competitions, or has been funded by a for-profit or non-profit unit or other government departments or produced using its relevant subsidy funds (Including self-produced, commissioned, and externally produced), the copyright agreement document signed with the organizer in other competitions should be attached to the registration form. If there is no attached information, or false notification of whether to submit multiple entries to participate, Those who do not will be disqualified from the competition.
7. Avoid counter-propaganda and placement marketing, and must not contain content that violates laws and good customs.
1. Evaluation method:
1. Review: Two-stage process of qualification review and review
(1) Qualification review: The organizer will conduct a qualification review on the registration materials submitted by the applicants to check whether the application qualifications and various documents comply with the regulations.
(2) Review: The selection is divided into two stages: preliminary review and final review. Those who pass the preliminary review will enter the final review. The review committee is composed of relevant scholars and experts, and selects the winning works based on the scoring criteria.
2. Scoring criteria:
(1) Theme spirit and content: 40% (the content is consistent with the theme).
(2) Creative performance: 30% (performance with great ingenuity).
(3) Overall production: 30% (the production layout is complete).
11. Reward methods:
1. Awards will be awarded as follows:
(1) Gold medal: Certificate and bonus of NT$30,000 for one winner.
(2) Silver medal: Certificate and bonus of NT$20,000 for one winner.
(3) Bronze medal: Certificate and bonus of NT$10,000 for one winner.
(4) Excellent work: Certificate and bonus of NT$5,000, two places.
(5) Special Jury Award: Certificate and bonus of NT$5,000 for one winner.
2. The instructors of each of the above-mentioned award-winning teams will also be issued a certificate of appreciation for their guidance.
3. Each award will be determined by the selection meeting based on the quality of the contestants' works. If necessary, the awards may be "vacated".
4. The list of winners will be announced on the "Life Education Global Information Network of the Ministry of Education" and the "Life Education Center Website of the University of South China".
12. How to claim the prize:
1. The certificate of award shall be based on the list listed in the registration form. Applicants should pay attention to filling in the team members correctly and in detail when registering. If there are any omissions or errors, they will not be able to request replacement or reissue.
2. In accordance with the tax laws stipulated by the Government of the Republic of China, the remaining bonus will be awarded after tax is deducted from the bonus.
3. Winners are required to bring their identity documents and fill in relevant documents on the day of the award ceremony. The prize will be disbursed by remittance. The remittance fee or postage will be deducted from the prize and will be absorbed by the recipient.
Picking up ginseng and precautions:
1. Please be sure to fill in the details when registering online, and the video works must indicate the title of the work. If the registration information is incomplete, or the film production regulations do not comply with the regulations, and if it is not corrected after notification, the qualification will be disqualified after the deadline.
2. Since the entries are audio-visual in nature, they will not be sent and returned regardless of whether they win the prize or not.
3. Participating works must be self-created and must respect "intellectual property rights." Plagiarism or reproduction of other people's works is prohibited. Pornography, violence, defamation, personal attacks, political issues, indecent works, violations of relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of China, etc. are prohibited. If the above circumstances are discovered, the participation or winning qualification will be cancelled, and those who have received the prize must return the certificate and bonus.
4. If a third party raises objections to the legality of the work (such as copyright, portrait rights), and it is found to be true, the organizer will not only disqualify the award, but also recover the certificate and bonus according to administrative procedures, which violates copyright. The legal liability shall be borne by the participants themselves and all losses incurred by the organizer shall be borne by the participants.
5. The property rights and moral rights of works belong to the creator. The organizer may obtain the rights of reproduction, modification, public transmission, public display and distribution of the entries with the consent of the creator. If the creator agrees, it is presumed that he agrees that the organizer can use his work for non-commercial purposes such as teaching and educational promotion without restrictions on location, time, frequency, and method.
6. The registrant guarantees that all information filled in or submitted is true and correct, and all actions should be voluntary by the registrant. No fraudulent use or misappropriation of any third party's information is allowed to avoid violating the law. Once it is found that there is forgery or impersonation, the organizer has the right to cancel all qualifications for the event.
7. If the applicant’s basic information is incomplete, the contact information is incorrect, the specifications of the work do not match the registration qualifications, or the file cannot be read, etc., resulting in the organizer being unable to notify and operate, the application will be considered a waiver.
8. Participants agree that the organizer will obtain contact information and personal information to facilitate selection and recognition related to this event. Its collection, processing and use are in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act. The organizer protects the privacy rights of event participants. Personal information provided by participants is properly maintained and is only used within the reasonable scope of management, promotion and execution of business.
9. If the information sent or logged in by the applicant is delayed, lost, wrong, unrecognizable or damaged due to any personal technical issues such as computer or network or any reason not attributable to the organizer, the organizer will No legal responsibility is assumed, and applicants shall not object accordingly.
10. All applicants shall be deemed to agree to and abide by the regulations of this competition, respect the evaluation of the selection committee, and shall not have any objection to the evaluation results.
11. The organizer reserves the right to interpret and amend this event. If this event cannot be performed due to special force majeure reasons, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this event.
Rights to Shisi, video promotion content, methods and use:
In order to expand the effectiveness of the video in promoting the concept of life education, individual or team entries shall obtain the consent of the creator in accordance with the copyright consent form from the time of submission of the data work, which means that the organizer (including the affiliated unit) or the undertaking unit shall be allowed to submit the works for any number of times and for any period of time. Territory, authorized third parties use it for good and non-profit purposes to promote their works, including public screenings, public performances and public broadcasts on radio and television, print media, the Internet and event promotion.
With the consent of the creators of the winning works, the best-quality video teaching guidelines will be produced and placed on the Ministry of Education's Life Education Global Information Network, adding life education media teaching resources for teaching reference and application in all walks of life.
